It just makes sense to pursue a craft in photography as a Graphic Designer. It's a different set of skills and proficiency, to be really good you need to master lighting (technique) and social touch (connection to the subject).  I'm a "generalist", most of my photography projects are in direct connection to my being an Art Director / Graphic Designer and my love for anything that is DESiGN.​
